Tables in Wonderland question

we use and have found it to be a good deal. My only issue is that it automatically gives an 18% tip. I have found it works best if you don't tell them you are using TIW until the bill comes.

How does it work better, if you wait until the check comes? :confused3

This thread appears to be turning into a discussion of tipping on TIW - this is a reminder that all discussion of tipping on the restaurant boards should be done on the Tipping Information Thread stuck to the top of the main restaurant board.

I am going on two trips (maybe 3) next year and was wondering if I should get the annual pass +TIW card or pay or get dining plan. TIW sounds like a good deal after reading all posts- thanks all for your info.

Every trip I go on, I sit down and run figures using both the TiW card and the DDP. And every single time, the TiW card comes out to be a better value. But, you have to do the math. And I go to WDW more than once a year. I will say that I bought my new TiW card on July 31 this year. It is good until August 30, 2011. I was at WDW until Aug 12....the card had paid for itself within our first week there. My dh loves to eat at WDW, so I had a lot of TS meals set up. Due to that, by the 9th day of our stay, the card had paid for itself.
Some say that they have received less than stellar service when mentioning the TiW card when ordering. I don't mention it..but just hand the card over with my room key or credit card when paying. I haven't seen less than wonderful service yet.
