How many people is one membership good for at a meal? For example, if I have the card, and am eating with a party of 7 others - can we all get the 20% discount?

Yes. I believe it's good for up to a party of 10 as long as you're all on the same bill.

I've even had them give me the discount for 12 of us when I had my husband's family there last December. Every time, we got the discount for the whole group, not just 10 of us.
