I know they add the tip to the bill when you use the Tables in Wonderland. Can you change the amount you tip or are you stuck with the 18%? If we have bad service we're not going to want to tip 18%.

The 18% tip is automatic. I suppose you could argue with the manager if you receive poor service and want to lower it.

I have not done this, but it can be altered. You can give more without issue (how 'bout that)...but as PP said, to lower it you'd have to speak with a manager.

thanks. I figured we could give more by just putting some cash on the table. I wasn't sure if the bill came out like it does at buffets with the 18% suggested on there that can be altered.

When I asked via a letter to the TIW people, I was told to tell the manager while we were at dinner, so the service could improve. It seemed as if it would be nearly impossible to lower the tip amount.

Thanks. We might end up not getting the card. Although we'll be a party of 6 (even though the baby won't be eating) so the tip would get added anyway. But that added tip is always easy to change.

Closing this thread and redirecting everyone to the dedicated tipping thread on the restaurant board. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2300858

The first post explains why there is one dedicated thread, had thread guidelines, and even a tipping FAQ. Auto gratuities are addressed under number 5 in the first post. Hope this helps :goodvibes
