Is it possible to make a reservation but not order an entree? We would like to dine at a few places and have limited time so I am wondering if we could select an appetizer at one and dessert at another restaurant Or is there a minimum requirement? I really wanted to do Ogas but I don’t see anything I can have. I have diabetes and I don’t drink alcohol. Does anyone know if they could make me something sugar free?

Any TS restaurant that has an a la carte menu is no problem. I have gone to a la carte restaurants for just apps or just dessert many times. A few restaurants are a prix fixe menu, so you would have to purchase the entire meal. Of course, buffets are one price no matter how little or how much you eat. At prix fixe and buffets, you don’t have to eat a lot of food, so you can eat light if you choose, but there is no discount for eating light.

Thanks!

Most TS restaurants can bring you fresh fruit for dessert rather than the carb-heavy desserts on the regular menu.

You might scroll down menus and look at the allergy-friendly kids menu. Those often list plain grilled meats and poultry rather than the adult menu's gloppy sauce, loaded with sodium and sugar. Plain veggies or fresh fruit salad are pretty common on the allergy kids menu, too.

They'll fix an adult-sized portion and charge accordingly.

I need gluten-free, dairy-free. So many of the allergy-friendly adult dishes are one or the other and can't be easily altered. It's lots simpler for me to order the kids items not coated with seasonings or sauces. May be for you, too.

Ooh I never knew that I could order off the kids menu

You always could at most but not all places when paying cash.

It was those on the Disney Dining Plan who had to order from the adult menu only. But, now that the DDP is maybe coming back eventually, maybe not, can or can't isn't as much an issue.

However, if you're not at a Disney-owned restaurant, you may not be able to. Those have their own policies and might not allow it.

One way to identify if it's Disney-owned is to check the official Disney menus. If there's no allergy-friendly section, the restaurant's most likely not. At those (common in Disney Springs), you'd need to ask. Some will allow it, others won't.

Thanks for the tip

No you can not get a drink from Ogas that is not on the menu. They have pre-mixed drinks and that is it, it is not a full bar.
