Assuming that your family members all are fairly quick eaters BUT you are on the deluxe dining plan and therefore will be ordering appetizers, main course, and dessert.

In general how long does it take to eat a table service meal at most of the restaurants in the parks?

What about the buffet style restaurants compared to the waiter/menu order ones?

Is there a difference between the lunch service times and the dinner service times?

Is it safe to assume that from the time you are seated that you can complete your meal, have your check and be on your way out the door in 60 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes?

Does it help if you order everything upfront at the beginning (so the waiter doesn't have to bring back a seperate dessert menu)?

I would plan on at least an hour to an hour & a half, after you are already seated.

I too agree with the hour to hour and half time frame. It also depends on what type of server you have. We have experienced very slow servers in the past, and then we have experienced servers whos main goal was to get you in and get you out ASAP. We like to take our time when we are sitting down to eat to really enjoy our food and the atmosphere of the restaurant.

For DH and I it takes 35-45 minutes for a buffet and regular TS 45-75 minutes.
