Table Service for 7 year old boy

Another vote for Sci Fi Diner! Also, TRex. When ODS was 7, we did Rainforest Cafe (TRex wasn't there yet), and those 2 were his favorites. Have fun!

Character meals:
Liberty Tree Tavern
Chef Mickey's
Crystal Palace
Tusker House (from what I hear, never been)

Non-Character meals:
Sci Fi
Whispering Canyon Cafe (again, from what I hear)

Keep in mind the food (especially for character meals) is hit-and-miss. Even for the ones I listed. I didn't list Garden Grill, even though it's a Mickey character meal, because my family didn't like it at all.

I don't believe Liberty Tree Tavern is a character meal at this time.

Keep in mind, Chef Mickey's and Tusker House (also Garden Grill) have basically the same characters--you don't "have" to do both. Look at which one fits best into your vacation plans.

Not a character meal, but all my kids love Boma--the food is different but not weird, they love going to AKL and looking around at the decor and the animals.

My DS7 really like BoG, but the only character is the Beast. He liked the decor and the talking knights.

We have a nearly 7 yr old as well and he's looking forward to eating in the cars at the Sci-Fi drive in.

For boys I would recommend T Rex, Rainforest Cafe, Sci Fi Diner, Tusker House character breakfast or lunch, Chef Mickey's character breakfast or dinner, and Garden Grill character dinner. In a way I would consider the princess meals as being fun for boys too because the princesses love to give the boys attention and treat them like princes ;)

Hi

I'm looking for table service recommendations for us to book. We seem to have a couple princess things for our daughter but I want to try something special for him.

Does anyone have any suggestions???

Thanks!!!

If your son is into dinosaurs/prehistoric animals at all, T-Rex is great! My 8 year old daughter is really into dinosaurs and LOVES T-Rex. The food is really great too! The safari breakfast at Tusker House is something the whole family will love too.

My son really loved Chef Mickey's and also really liked Garden Grill. Last year we went to Disneyland and he kept asking to go to the restaurant that spins (Garden Grill). I had to keep telling him that we couldn't go to Florida to eat since we were in CA.

My son would vote for Tusker House, Teppan Edo and 50's Prime Time. We also love Whispering Canyon and Liberty Tree. My son likes the food at all of these places and that is probably what is most important to him...haha :)

My DS8 loved Tusker House, Chef Mickey's, and T-Rex. He thought Sci-Fi was cool, but it wasn't one of his favorites. Next time, he is looking forward to Coral Reef.

My DS7 likes chef mickeys, trex, rainforest... And if you are wanting dinner shows, he loves the luau and hoop de doo.. We have done luau the past few years and he keeps asking to go. This year back to the hoop de doo... Also via Napoli

My 7 y/o DS loved Whispering Canyon, until it was time for the rodeo and his Dad (me) got up and rode the stick horse. If you don't like ketchup ask for it anyway. Also, ask where you can get some gum. If you have a good server you will have a blast.

For straight up character meals they like Tusker House. We are doing Trex for the first time in two weeks. Have a great trip!
