Hi

I'm looking for table service recommendations for us to book. We seem to have a couple princess things for our daughter but I want to try something special for him.

Does anyone have any suggestions???

Thanks!!!

My boys really enjoyed Chef Mickeys at that age and Crystal Palace with Pooh & friends.

Sci Fi drive in is cool.

My kids loved the "outdoor/indoor" restuarants - Sci Fi, Biergarten and San Angel Inn are all inside, but look like they are outside.

My boys love breakfast with Stitch at 'Ohanas and dinner at the Sci Fi.

I agree with PPs, Ohana, CHef Mickey's, Crystal Palace and would also add Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex even though they are not character meals.

Any of the buffets were enjoyed by my friend's 11 yo when they've come with us. They've been our guests since he was 4. Mom appreciates the variety.

Crystal Palace and Tusker House are 2 of his favorites.

If you want to go the character route, Chef Mickey's and Tusker House are good choices. If he watches Jake & The Neverland Pirates, he appears at H&V at breakfast and lunch. Non-character, I bet he'd enjoy T-Rex (DTD) and Rainforest Cafe (DTD & AK).

Another non-character meal is Whispering Canyon Cafe. It's in a western theme. It's loud and they do a lot of fun stuff. For character I love Garden Grill. Mickey in his farmer clothes is so cute and Chip and Dale are a hoot. The character interaction here was the best we had.

My DS7 really enjoyed 1900 Park Faire on our last trip. The stepsisters are a hoot, and Lady Tremain "reprimanded" his older sister for not having vegetables on her plate (she was on her third helping of mac and cheese). DS even got to dance with Cinderella!

We also like Chef Mickey's. He wouldn't care for Pooh and friends, but that can vary. And he was a little old for the one at Hollywood and Vine; again, YMMV.

Prime time cafe. My nephews loved it and really got into it. Especially when their dad got "in trouble" for not eating his veggies

Two boys...lots of trips. They like the character meals with the fab 5. Tucker house being one of their favorite. About that age, they were less interested in CP and pooh. They both enjoyed the Rainforrest and T-Rex. They might not choose it, but both have done Princess meals (their mom is a princes:goodvibes) and really had a good time. The Castle meal is fun for little boys too. Sci-fi is also a really god choice, but reality is my boys have eaten a a huge variety of places at WDW, and enjoy most all of them!!!

DS is 8 years old. His favorites are breakfast at Ohana with Stitch and dinner at Garden Grill. They are the two meals that he requested for our trip this year.

He liked Chef Mickey's and CP. He was not thrilled with BOG, CRT, or breakfast at Akershus. He liked Le Cellier a lot. He says he enjoyed dinner at Ohanas, but other than the meat he didn't really eat much. I think he just liked the coconut broom races. We did the Disney Jr. breakfast at Hollywood and Vine last year and he thought that was a lot of fun. We did 50's Prime Time and he thought it was okay, but didn't ask to go back.

My Oldest is 7 and I asked him. Since we go often. His favourites are Tusker House for breakfast, 50's Prime Time ( because his dad always gets in trouble) Ohana and he loves Teppan Edo in Japan. He loved the show with Dinner.

My DS at 7 isn't interested in Pooh and Friends so I wouldn't suggest CP but he would be fine with CM or TH.

Sci Fi drive in is cool.

Kids always love eating in the cars!

At 7, DS would have not wanted the Disney Jr crew but his 4 year old sister might have....

At age 7, we took him to Sci-Fi and Garden Grill. Next time we will be trying TH instead of Garden Grill because I think he will like the food better.
