Table Service During Food & Wine

My faves are Le Cellier in Canada and Chefs de France.

I'm doing Le Cellier for the first time this year during my solo trip in September. I am vaguely second guessing doing TS during F&W, but Le Cellier has been on my bucket list for a long time (I know it's "gone downhill" to many, but I'd like to try it).

I'll have my full EP day, the AP event in Epcot, and another few hours on my departure day to grab as many F&W items as I can. I've been satisfied with a few (probably somewhere around 5-7) items during my past festivals. I don't feel too much need to try every dish.

I was thinking of doing the same, and have similar concerns. I haven't been to Le Cellier since it was buffeteria style back in the 80's. I want to go during our summer trip this year but wow; recent reviews on places like Trip Advisor are pretty damning. Might be a different story if we weren't talking about what amounts to $100/person.

over the years, have evolved into lunch at food & wine and dinner at a TS restaurant, preferably not in Epcot. Unless there is a concert worth seeing. I have one of those and will likely be walking in at Spice Road for dinner.

As far as Disney restaurants go, I don't pay a lot of attention to Trip Advisor. I actually don't pay a lot of attention to most reviews of Disney restaurants because I usually can't believe the person reviewing it actually went to the same restaurant I did, that's how divergent the opinions are most of the time.

We spend a few evenings at F&W and we don't do any table service. We are usually stuffed to the gils from the booths.

I love your post. I find it reassuring and similar to my experiences. Our last trip, we are at several infamously popular places that are often decried as overrated. They were lovely - no idea about the bad reviews.

And I’m currently planning on early lunch at the booths, then Le Cellier for dinner. On my split Epcot days, just grazing on the booths.

We have learned over the years that a table service meal does not work for us during Food & Wine. It is hard to judge just how many booths we will visit and just how full we will be. So, we enjoy the booths and visit a counter service option if we are still hungry at dinner time. The Food and Wine menus look better than ever this year. We are looking forward to eating around and around and around the world.
