For a party of three, I've heard that you may have a better shot at getting the times and reservations you want by reserving a table for 4. Right or not? Does it really make a difference?

I've heard lots of people say that also, but we've always gone in even numbers, so I can't help you first hand.

Yes, it doesn sometimes make a difference. The only place I've been told that they actually have tables to seat only three are at Boma (I believe they're pushed against the wall on one side.) I don't know if this will change with the new reservation system, or if they're still looking at allocating a certain number of tables for 2,3,4,5, etc. or going by the actual table size itself. I'll be honest and say we did get an adr for 4 at 1900 Park Fare out of desperation and calling daily for weeks. I did not see any triangular tables so I didn't feel guilty. ;)

So if I say there's three in my party (which there truly is - no guilt here!), we should end up with a table for four, right? I don't think any place would cram us around a table for two, and if almost no place else has tables for three, four is the way to go regardless.:thumbsup2

'Ohana also has actual tables for three.

Most Disney restaurants have (hard-to-get) tables designated for one/two diners; (much more readily available) tables designated for three/four diners; tables for five/six...

Yes, O'hana's does have 3 seat tables too and they are too small in my opinion!

I think it makes zero difference.

I am going in May, have 3 in my party, and got ADR's for every restaurant I requested within 20 minutes of my requested time when calling on the 90 day mark.
