Friday 23rd November Black Friday

Sounds a bit worrying doesn’t it? Well it’s not, it’s just the day ALL the Christmas sales start. Think January sales in the UK.
We shopped ALL day, if yesterday was a jog around the shops then today was a marathon.
We were up at 5.00 to be at Micheals by 6.00. I forgot to mention we had bought the Orlando Sentinel yesterday and had gone through it while having breakfast at Dennys. This was a major exercise in its self as the paper is massive and we had to split it 50 : 50 to find all the sale adds.

It paid of , as Theresa was able to get information about the Cricut with an extensive starter pack for $129 this she assures me would have cost at least £ 250 at home. We arrived at Micheals at 5.50 and we were third in the queue. When the door opened Theresa went up and down the aisles looking for the Cricut and wasn’t having any luck in finding it. I noticed the lady in front of us asking one of the assistants about it and she went off to get one out of the storeroom. When she came back I got her to fetch me one. She told me they had four in stock and I had had the third one.

As you can guess this got me no end of brownie points with Theresa.:cool1:

She also managed to get several font cartridges and lots of other bits and pieces with the vouchers on the sales flyer at half price!

After Micheals we went to Festival Bay which is my shopping Mall really. A stop off at Bass Pro for some fishing flies and a few PBR T-shirts from Sheplers and I was happy enough to head for the Florida Mall and Yankee Candles( most guys will now be cringing) :scared: . These purchased and we moved on to Ritz and got my favourite purchase of the holiday, my new lens.:woohoo: ( I’ll let you know which pictures were taken with it as the trip progresses.). The Mall was very, very busy :crowded: and we were happy to get away from it, so moved over to The Terrace at the Florida Mall so Theresa could do some more scrapbook shopping.

We grabbed a quick burger and shake from Steak N Shake and then went to Mouse Memories on the 192 and then Joann’s. After this we were shopped out and headed back to the hotel to pack as we were moving to a timeshare called Club Sevilla the following day .

It took us ages to get everything sorted and it did seem daft unpacking all the stuff from the car to lug it up to the hotel room to pack it up and then lug it back down to the car to move the following morning, we can’t help it , we’re just made that way.

I’d had enough of driving for one day so we walked across the road to the Japanese Steakhouse, Kobe.
Theresa wrote up the Happy Book while we waited for our meal.
Here's a tip,(Make notes at the table and drop hints about a dining review and see how much better the service and meal are).;)

I had steak and shrimp and Theresa had teriyaki chicken. Both came with rice, noodles and stir fried vegetables. Delicious and all for $42 + tip.

Both pictures are with the new lens.
After this we waddled back to the hotel and packed the last few bits and pieces ready to check out in the morning.

We hadn’t really seen much of the hotel but what we had we liked and would recommend it.

Oh well, tomorrow we move and we get to go to a theme park (almost forgot what one of those was.).

great shopping day for you both
