T Shirt Pics

Hi Everyone,

I recently returned from our trip and I wanted to post some pics of our shirts. This was my first time making shirts with iron on transfers and they turned out great! I was so surprised. I used Amy Mickey's transfers and they worked great - so easy! We had so much fun choosing the designs and wearing the shirts - had lots of comments. They really made our trip extra special. Thanks to all those fantastic designers out there!!

Great Job! You did a fantastic job on cutting them out! I also used www.amymickey.com transfers and I've washed them 3 times and they look great - it's nice your hard work pays off!

The shirts look great! I have gotten Amy's transfers and I need to get to printing out some designs but I keep looking at the Disigns thread to see if I see something I like better...LOL! I am doing the princess shirts too.

Thanks! I was so happy how they turned out! Amy's transfers really are great! So easy - I was like - "Is that all I have to do?" "Is it done?" Glad to hear they wash well too - I have only washed mine once so far - and they are still fine - wearing one now actually.

Would you mine sharing two of the design with me i'm going in nov and i love the castle design and the one that is for me is " I will never grow Up "
if you do not want to share i will also understand and Thank you for the thought .

First off, your shirts are fabulous! Way to go.

I am just about to start printing some of my t-shirts out and just bought the transfers from Amy Mickey. I have a quick q'n for you though if you don't mind. How did you get the Mickey Mouse head with the tiara to print without white behind the tiara? Did you cut all the way around the head and the tiara to make it so neat?

My guess is your answer is the same but I was also amazed by the Animal Kingdom shirt with the characters below? How in the world is there no white around their feet?

I'm using Amy's transfers too, and I'm just waiting for my next shipment to finish my shirts. I've made 27 so far and have 19 left to go. I LOVE the transfers - so easy! Amy - your transfers rock!

Hi Jeff, I am happy to share - they are not my original "disigns" but ones I found here on the boards! So I'll see if I can find and give the designers the proper credit but I'll post the disigns here in this thread. Have a great trip!

Thanks for posting the location of the designs! That is very helpful. I searched everywhere for the minnie/crown Mickey Head and finally found it last night. There are so many talented disigners on here!

Hi,

I just saw your questions - I'll see if I can answer them. There is white behind the tiara on the Mickey head/Minnie design. We trimmed about an eighth of an inch around the edge of the tiara and since we used white shirts, the white isn't noticeable. If you used a colored shirt it might make a difference - you might have to trim the insides of the tiara - time consuming. My mom trimmed the Animal Kingdom shirt very carefully cutting out the feet - that also took some time!

We used Amy's Transfers too and I love love love them. They stayed soft, didnt fade or run and I have washed them probably 10 times by now!
