We are going to MNSSHP on 10/27. My DH and DS13 and DS15 just want to wear Halloween shirts. I have seen some really cute ones at Wal-Mart. Will it be cool enough in the evening that we'll want sweatshirts?Thank you.

By that time, there is a 50/50 chance of really needing it. We have found that it can get cool in the parks once the sun goes down no matter the time of year though. I would plan on taking a sweatshirt, it can't be worse than wearing a hot costume all night.

This will be our 5th year attending MNSSHP. We have worn short sleeve shirts each year. Only 1 year I felt I needed a sweatshirt on, but the rest of the family was still warm in short sleeves. I would be prepared to put a sweatshirt on over, but t-shirts are the way to get started.

I see you're from Indiana. It probably won't be cool to you. We southerners may be a little cool at night, though.

If you decide you need a sweatshirt, they have plenty for sale in the WDW stores. Last year at this time, they had very few sweatshirts available. This year, they have a ton out. They must have expected it to get cold.

I was there once and ended up wearing jeans, a turtleneck, sweatshirt and coat. I'm from Maine, so I know cold weather. Other times I've worn a t-shirt and shorts and been fine. It's pretty much luck of the draw.

I say go for the tshirts and you can always add a long sleeve tshirt under it should it be a cool evening.

I vote Tshirt, didn't need a sweatshirt the whole time we were there last year in Oct, and I'm a girl who keeps a sweater in the car all the time just in case.

Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions. LOL at the Indiana comment. That is so true. My kids break out the shorts and T-shirts in Feb. if it gets up to fifty degrees.

We were there in 2003 and were very comfortable in t-shirts all evening. Besides, with a t-short, you can always layer under with a long sleeved tee.
