My 11 yr old son is being a trip to Disney World Oct 3rd by the Make A Wish Foundation. :goodvibes I wanted to do a bunch of little things to make it special... surprises for when we got there. I am making the boys 11,14 and 19 Disney pajamas (( I know I know, CORNY)) but they are coming out really good.

BUT, I wanted to make t shirts, matching ones for the family to wear to the parks, :grouphug: I wanted a Disney theme and the make a wish logo on them. Each member of the family likes a different character, so I thought I would add some clip art as well.

So off to the store I went and purchased AVERY stretchable iron on transfers for ink jet printers. Made the first shirt. WOW it was horrible. :scared: I mean really really bad and I followed the instructions to the T. (No pun intended. lol) So now I’m thinking before I waste even more money and ruin another shirt and buy a different paper... I would get some advice from people who know what they are talking about.

I really need a little pixie dust to make this very very special for my son. He has missed out on allot in life because of being so sick. This is his chance to be a kid and not worry about Dr's or hospitals for awhile.

Any Ideas or help would be a blessing! :flower3

I am moving this to the Creative DISigns boards...they are the T-shirt experts!

I hope you have a Magical Trip!!!

I'm happy for your son, it's wonderful that he will be able to take this awesome trip. I don't know diddly about stretchable transfers, but I am sure someone on here will help you..good luck and Happy Vacation to Disney World:)

I do not know anything about those specific transfers but if you find yourself wanting to buy new ones, check out my webpage (link below). I have found the best dark transfers on the market.

I can vouch for these transfers! They really are THE best t-shirt transfers you can buy. My shirts look terrific that I made with them!! Good luck!! :goodvibes

I have made some shirts on Zazzle... I just went and picked a character for each of us and then put "Disney World Make a Wish" on each one and our name at the bottom. We changed the fonts around, etc. I spent about 80.00 to get all 5 shirts (and 2 were plus sized). I don't have them yet, so I don't guess I can really vouch for them...but they had lots of characters to choose from and you can customize them... it was zazzle.com.

But there are great folks out there that make these, too, and they may be cheaper! :)

I made shirts on printfection.com I was able to use a design from one of the wonderful designers on this board. I uploaded the image, selected the shirts and presto - I've got great shirts! It was awesome. I spent $28.00 including shipping for two shirts - with a full color image. The company's turn around time was fast, as was delivery - I would use them again without a second thought. Good luck and have a wonderful trip!
