T-rex

Yes, we have. The food was pretty good, the portions were large, plenty to share. It was just DH and myself, we will be taking our DGS in May, if it were just the two of us again we would probably skip it but I'm sure he will LOVE the atmosphere.

We tried to go when went in November and the wait was 2 1/2 hours, needless to say we didn't go. Looked like a fun place though!

Yup! We had reservations, but those who were walk-ups seemed to be waiting a while. It was kind of expensive, and very loud, and it took 45 minutes for our appetizer (nachos) to come, but it was good! We'll be back. It was fun.

We had reservations for around 7. Waited in line to tell the person we had reservations for about 10 minutes and then in line again to get called in for about 20 more. It is very loud in there. Our server was nice and made suggestions like don't get the lasagna. He said it is just plain old lasagna and if we like pasta we should try the mammoth mushroom ravioli. My dad tried it and said it was good. I had the lava tomato basil soup (freaked me out that it was served in a metal dish, tomato acid and all)and the lost world chicken salad sandwich. My husband had the chicken salad sandwich too. They were very good. My son had the Pteradactyl Salad. He didn't like it but that was because it had eggs on it. I read him the description but it was so loud he didn't hear it. The loudness also caused a mix up in the drink order. I asked the waiter if he got the diet coke for my husband he said yes and then brought 2. Oh well. They automatically brought kids menus for the other 3 kids. They had basic kid stuff and I think you could pick 2 sides from the kids menu as well. I decided to take the kids over to build a dino so we wouldn't have to be out so late and all 3 built, washed, picked out outfits, and we paid for the dinos before our meal came. It would have been a horrible wait if we weren't busy. We wanted to try the Chocolate Extinction but we were so full we had to bring our meals back to the hotel room. It came to under $200 for 7 of us. Not too bad I guess. it was cool to go to but I won't go again unless we bring someone who has never been ya know, that kinda place. WAY TOO LOUD!

We were there for lunch in December. The food was good and the portions large. I had a chicken BLT sandwich on fried dough that was enough for two. I agree with the above posters. It was way too loud. They need to turn down the decibels. Service was quite slow. We won't be going back anytime soon. Although the theme is interesting the noise really gets on your nerves after a while.

I reccomend eating here for an early dinner or late lunch when it is not so busy. We ate here in Jan around 4pm and more than half the restaurant was empty. We had reservations but didn't need them because we were seated within 5 minutes. The food was great, large portions, lots of variety. Kids meals were also large. We had a good time and it wasn't that loud. I can see though how it would get REAL loud quick with a full restaurant.

Ate there in February. Awesome atmosphere. Very loud as others have previously posted. We had ressies for 6pm during the week and was seated immediately. Service was great, food was good. I'd recommend trying at least once.

We ate at t-rex in Nov. it was very good everyone enjoyed their dish. It was loud, but that's part of the experience. We will definitly go back for our trip in Sept. !!!:thumbsup2
