I know they are completely different places, and there is no comparison . . .

We have an ADR at T-Rex in May - never been before. However I heard Spoodles was closing (also never been there), looked up the menu and it looks really nice. I have seen plenty of good reviews for Spoodles, but havent seen that much about T-Rex yet . . . has anyone eaten there, and is the food quality OK, or is it more about the experience? I want the experience, but feel I should go and "appreciate" Spoodles as it will be my first and last chance!

Thanks for any help you can give :thumbsup2

We had a Spoodles reservation a few years ago, but ended up canceling it because nothing on the menu looked appealing. But if something looks good to you, I agree and say you should go for it because it will be your last chance.

We ate at T-Rex this past Jan., and it was really good! The atmosphere was awesome, although loud, and it took about 45 minutes to get our appetizer (nachos). They were really good though.

it all really depends on what you are looking for....are you looking for a nice atmosphere with really good food and no LOUD screaming like noises in your ear, or are you looking for food thats overpriced and just okay (think TGI Fridays quality)?? I'd definitally go for Spoodles while you still can! We were there in December and had a wonderful meal....big portions, and lots of choices!

Thanks! Does T-Rex open for breakfast do you know? Just thinking that might be a quicker way to see it!

We ate at Spoodles in Feb for supper> wow! Pasta, everything was great. It was so good our ds12 made us go back for an incredible breakfast.

Nice place, not noisy and our ds16 loved it too.

I've been to both T-Rex and Spoodles, last month in fact. For a full review see http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2100030

If it was me I would definitely go to Spoodles. It is now our favorite restaurant in WDW. We liked T-Rex but there's really no comparison. Get to Spoodles while you can! I wish I could go back before it closes!
