Hello..Any idea when someone should call for reservations for lunch @ T-rex in mid-August, is it too soon to call now?

You will be fine calling them now. They take reservations up to 180 days in advance.

Usually you are better off calling T-Rex directly. They release very few of their reservations to Disney.
