T Rex Priority Seating for Large Group

I have a party of 8. Disney had no availability at T rex, so I called them directly. They offered me a 4:30 reservation. I know I can pay the $25 to become a member for priority seating.

Does that work fairly well even for larger groups???

Also, can the $25 credit and $25 birthday credit be applied to your tip? We have the DDP.

I haven't had a party of 8 so I don't know how strict they are, but from the T&C for the Landry's Select Club:
"Club members are eligible for priority seating (based on availability). Members receive seating privileges seven days a week, for parties of six or less."

You cannot apply the credit towards the gratuity. This limitation is probably enforced whereas there might be more leniency regarding priority seating. Also from the T&C:
"Rewards may not be used to purchase gift cards or certificates, retail merchandise (excluding Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.), rides or games. Rewards may not be used for tax or gratuity and in some states alcohol purchases."
