I am thinking of joining landry club.It costs 25 dollars but you get that back as a credit.
We will be eating at T-rex.
You also get 25 coupon in birthday month.Does anyone know if you can combine both ??

Yes you can combine both. Neither is a coupon... it will be a dollar value added to your Landry's Select card. Just present the card at the restaurant. You can also use any value on your Select card with any coupons. We went to T-Rex before it was on the Disney Dining Plan... we used a Rainforest Cafe Coupon for free kids meal plus the $50 on the Select card.

Did you know you also get priority seating (no reservation needed)? That's good for T-Rex, Rainforest Cafe, and Yak and Yeti (in Animal Kingdom Park).. all are Landry's restaurants. You can always call the restaurant ahead of time, but priority seating means you can walk up without a reservation and they aim to seat you within 20 minutes.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have a question.

We're planning to eat at RF Cafe at DTD on our upcoming trip. We have the DP, but there are some meals for which we plan to pay OOP.

I can register for the Landry's card, but, in order to use the bday credit, do we have to be eating at the restaurant during our bday month?

We'll be there in Sept. My bday & the boys' bdays are in July, & my DH's bday & my DD's bday are in January.

Thank you!!

The birthday reward is automatically added to your card on the 1st of the birthday month and expires the 15th of the following month. My birthday is in March and we had a $25 award from purchases and I used both.

My birthday was in Feb and they added the $25 to my card....but we will not be there until after the 15th of March...i called and they said they would allow me to use it for when I am there....it is on;y a week later. They said just to call them after it had actually expired and they would put it back on for a specific time period.

I am not saying let is expire and then call them and ask to add it back on...I called them right after I saw it had been added in Feb because I knew I wouldn't be there until after March 15th....likely they are just being nice. But if your trip is very close to your birthday and you call, they may do the same for you...just FYI.

I just did a little research. Yay me! The type of purchases that would earn me rewards would be purchased from other Landry's locations, right?

Well, my birthday is July 2nd which means the credit would expire August 15th, & we won't be in WDW until September 15th & don't plan to eat at RF Cafe until September 23rd. They probably wouldn't extend the bday credit until then, would they?

I wonder if I called & nicely explained that we wouldn't be near a Landry's restaurant until September...

At the very least, w/ a Landry's card, we would get a 10% discount off our meal at RF Cafe, right?

You get points for food/drinks at Landrys locations. Also gift cards will earn you points. Only Bubba's locations will eard points on retail. But you can show your card and get 10% off retail at gift shops on certian items.
landrysselect.com will answer any other questions.
I get rewards cards from anyplace that offers them. I figure it isn't gonna hurt having one! And the priority seating is a nice perk.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought we couldn't use the Select card at Yak & Yetis, or is it just the bonus $25 or b'day $25 that you can't use there? Anyone know for sure? We haven't tried it. :goodvibes

Just did it!
I used it at Y&Y and used both birthday reward and $25 I had earned from previous uses. You can't combine it with other discounts such as an AP discount.

Mmmm this is very interesting. We were planning to possibly pay OOP for our meal at T-Rex but didn't realize this card existed. So if my DBf's birthday is August 7th and we plan to eat at T-Rex on September 11th the 25 bucks would still be good?

Just got one! My birthday is next month, so my birthday meal should be pretty much free for my little family. :cool1:

Does anyone know if there are restrictions on the birthday $25? Can it be used on alcohol or is it for good for purchase of food only?

It's not accepted at Yak and Yeti counter service, but good for use in the restraunt

Since there seem to be a few members here, I have a question about the club that I haven't seen an answer to in their FAQ.

I'll have a $25 points reward and a $25 birthday reward on my card for our trip in May. We're planning on two meals at participating restaurants. It is just going to be me and my DD10 and I don't expect the tab for either one to be more than about $35 so I'd like to apply one reward to each. How do I make sure the credits apply correctly, rather than both applying to the first meal and losing the excess value?

yes

I know this is an old thread but I cannot find the answer to this.

I see that Rain Forest Cafe is now part of the meal plan. If we use a Table Service Credit to eat, do we still get the value of the dinner as Landry Select credits? :confused3

Strange as it seems. It depends on where you LIVE!! Here in MA we cant use our rewards towards alcohol. Found that out last trip when we were only having dessert and drinks. Our server let us know that we would be getting $15 instead of $25. Because of this he deferred our reward and we were able to apply it to our next visit!! I was so happy he explained it to us!!
