I feel like I’m blowing up these boards bc we just planned our first post Covid and it’s 8 days away and we just booked it today so, sorry! But wondering if sword in the stone is open? My dh loves this attraction and last I heard it was open but you’d never actually pull from the stone, which is fine. But the last time we went pre Covid it was wrapped in tarp and the time before that we just never made it so he’s all “sword in the stone!!@

The sword doesn't ever come completely out of the stone. If you move it up a few inches, you're the chosen one. That said, I haven't been there in a while so I couldn't say definitively if it's still a thing. My gut says not, since so many of the street performers have been laid off.

The last time I was there was in May but I'm pretty sure it was uncovered. I don't know if the "pullability" factor was turned on, though. It's hard to tell since it usually doesn't budge anyway. None of my family has ever been the "Chosen One." My husband has been "That Guy" and my son has several times been the "Rebel Spy," though, so we'll keep trying to pull that sword "out" of the stone!

Thanks he mostly just cares if it’s uncovered we just have never made it when it is and it’s such a small thing it’s silly.

If we are talking about the sword in the stone in front of the carousel, then yes it is open. Pulled on it this Friday.
