Switching to GF from WL?

My family is headed to WDW in September. Our plan is to arrive at the WL Thursday, hang out, Friday morning we'll do EPCOT, Friday night do the NSSHP (the whole point of the trip), Saturday the Keys to the Kingdom tour, then Saturday night Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table, depart on Sunday. We've just discovered we can keep our MYW plan (w/ free dining) and switch to the GF for $270 more. We've stayed at the WL before and like it, but I'm wondering if the GF would be more romantic and better located (on the ML). Thoughts?

We always like to try something new, so maybe the GF this time?
It's a great resort, convenient and fun. (despite that you sometimes hears its "stuffy") Different than the others, but not stuffy IMO.
Monorail is quicker than the boal to WL.

P.S. We found last year that you can get in earlier than the stated time for the NSSHP if you want.

We had a split stay between GF and WL a few years ago. Both are very nice. GF did not seem stuffy to me at all. I felt very comfortable. DS and DD loved the pool and the monorail is great. We liked WL also. We took the boat to MK a few times which worked out well. If I had the choice, I would choose GF.

We've done both and our last 8 stays have been at the WL. Everything under one roof, great theming, good pool, good transpo to the MK and alot less money. GF, huge resort but different buildings makes for alot of walking, to the food court, which we felt was poor, pool was okay, sit down dining to la-dee-dah and just too spread out. We don't switch around anymore on resort choices, depending on discounts given, we check the poly and WL, after 40 trips we know where we want to hang our hats.
