switching ticket numbers with family members

I purchased our tickets online and got them in the mail. Ofcourse the only boy going on the trip was assigned the Minnie Mouse ticket. I went on MDE to "Reservations and Tickets" then hit "Reassign ticket" and switched his for mine. But when I go to the "Magic Bands and Cards" section, it still shows that I have the tkt number with the Mickey picture and he still has the Minnie one. Anyone know how to do this?

DON'T try to make any more changes in this regard.
You're liable to hopelessly confuse things with FP+.

Second...
It doesn't matter which ticket with which photo which person has.
If you are getting (or already have) MagicBands, you won't be using any of the actual tickets during your trip.
Only the MagicBands will be used.

If you are NOT using MagicBands, just hand the new ticket WITHOUT the Minnie on it to the boy, and give the Minnie Ticket to someone else.

The first time everyone goes through a park gate, the ticket that they actually USE
will become THEIR TICKET and it won't matter which one is connected to the names
in the MDE account.

Thank You! I thought I had to attach the numbers to the person assigned because of FP+--I'll be making my picks tonight and wanted to be sure everyone gets the ticket with the correct FP+ picks. (We might not all have the same picks). OK, I'll leave it alone. --Liz
