Switching resorts on MDE

We have CBR currently booked at a room only standard rate but see that POR has a fall room only discount for our stay. Can I change this online? Or will I have to cancel my CBR reservation and make a new POR reservation since it is two different offers?

If you have the change reservation option showing yes you can

You can keep the same reservation number even though you have made a change to the rate or type of room or even change resorts. If you don't see the option to change online then just give reservations a call. We called last weekend to change our dates, room category and type of discount, and we kept the same reservation number.
