As I recall each year they switch off which water park to close first for refurb. In 2007 it was TL. Will they close BB for refurb first this year and TL second in 08?

BB was open thru christmas/NYE, TL was closed during christmas/NYE thru jan. 5th, on jan. 6th TL was opened and BB was closed. I believe both are open now, we were just there last week and i believe we saw cars in the parking lot of BB and we were going to go to TL during our trip.

Nope, we just came back and BB was closed. We did TL, though, as we had really warm beautiful weather. We go every other year and BB is always closed in Jan, but maybe they do switch off each year, and we are just on the same schedule as the BB/January closing, not sure.

It really can vary.

For quite some time, BB was the second park to close for rehab. Then in the winter of '04-05 it switched to TL. The reason was Disney had committed to building the Crush N Gusher attraction at TL. Since new construction could run into delays, they did the BB rehab first so that it had a fixed ending date when work would begin at TL. By doing TL second, an unplanned extension to its rehab/construction dates wouldn't impact the BB schedule.

TL again had the second rehab in '05-'06 and '06-'07. Now this year it's back to BB second.

Unfortunately the rehab schedule is not something you can anticipate 11 months out.

We will just wait and see then. Dh and I are going in April without the kids and are going to try Discovery Cove and Aquatica. The kids being just a little bit tiffed that Mom and Dad can have a life without them :yay: want to go to either Typhoon Lagoon (if it's open) or Aquatica (if its open) when we go in December. Wait and see wait and see THX:thumbsup2
