We ended up booking through AAA, but only because DW wanted the Diamond parking and Wishes viewing. Our agent subtracted from the sum total of human knowledge with her performance today.
First she told DW we couldn't book free dining if we were checking in on 10/2--wrong.
Even after DW showed her the ad, she still didn't believe it--said her supervisor told her the through date meant we had to check in on 10/1--wrong. And wouldn't even call Disney to ask them.
After I sent DW more info showing we could get it if we checked in on 10/2, DW called her back, so she finally called Disney, called DW back and admitted her error, but then blamed DW for not making the TA call when DW was sitting with her the first time.
After all that, DW was like this ----->
I told DW we could just book it ourselves or go through another agency, but DW likes the AAA perks so we just booked it through them. When DW called, the TA said she was sorry about the mix-up, but the combination of ignorance and stubborness is a difficult one to deal with.
