Switching from a Disney package to AAA?

I am currently booked (rack rate) at a value resort for October vacation. Not being a member of AAA, it would only have saved me a few $ to book thru AAA so I just took the rack rate. Now I am thinking of upgrading to WL. The AAA savings would be worthwhile at that point. My question: CAN I "undo" my package booked thru WDW and make a new one thru AAA without penalty?

Is this package just room and no tickets? If it is then yes. I would call and check with Disney first. You may want to get things booked with AAA frist to be sure to get what you want before you cancel with Disney. We are AAA members but for this trip we booked with Disney. AAA was not any cheeper. You did get a diamond card and special parking if you drive. Also if you use your AAA visa to book you get 2% back. Or at least that was like that in Oct. Good luck in what you deside.

Naw, its room + tix... I just got tired of waiting and wondering as my travel date got about 4 months away. I've done the WDW thing so many times now that I know I'm always specualting about upgrading. It's just that in the past I had booked thru AAA to start with. But I let me membership lapse (shame on me) and now I'm in limbo.

If you are outside 45 days you should be OK. Seven Dwarf's is right, I would book with AAA and then cancel my Disney ressie.

Hmmm... sounds like I have 55 days to wait upon a deal to come my way. TY
