switching days for crowd calanders and missing EMHs in AM

Ok- i am down to planning my last day 1/2 for our 6 day vacay and re-looking at the crowd calendars and second guessing my stategy. We leave this Friday...

Originally, I was ignoring the CC and planning on going to the parks w/ the AM -EMHs - figuring yes - they will be busy but, this time of the year crowds should be managable and the payoff is the EMH where park is "empty" and we can get in 2-4 rides quickly...

But, I see where I can "easily" switch out my originally planned Sat (10/27) of HS (rope drop - dinner/swim break back for Fantasmic!) to AK (finish up w/ MSEP in MK), which I had planned on doing on Monday.

If I switch I loose my EMH (AM) for both HS and AK.

But, in return I supposedly get a lower crowd day (based on CC) and we get to "potentially" sleep in a bit.

I am getting burned out in all this planning! I love it - but, thinking I need a fresh perspective from some others... PLEASE!

I think you've summarized the trade-off very well here. So it really depends on what is more important to you and your family.

We typically avoid EMH, but on two trips, we specifically chose morning EMH every day we could for specific reasons. One trip was during the summer, and we wanted to avoid the heat as much as possible. The other trip we had teenagers whose goal was to ride the thrill rides as many times as possible, so that meant getting an early start to grap Fast Passes. Neither of those reasons appears to be applicable to your situation, however.

this overall crowd calendar rates the whole week we are there as a 2 - perhaps I shouldn't even be concerned about the crowd levels?

I was using this calendar as a guide to which parks to go on which days...
