Switching ADR to an earlier time.

How do you get an earlier time without losing the one you already have? It used to be so easy You could get the one you want and cancel the other in one easy step. Now it pops up that you have an existing ADR that you need to cancel first.

DH wants to do the Star Wars breakfast but the only time I could get was 10:30 on the day we leave. I want to be able to check for an earlier time without losing the one I already have.

The only thing I know to do is log in on another persons account in the MDE like your spouse or family member that is going with you. Maybe someone else knows another trick but this is how I handle it.

Thank you I was hoping that there was another way. It was so fair and easy before. I do not know why they changed it.

They didn't change it. It's just one of the many recent glitches in the system. Hit cancel, select the time you want again, and it might work like it's supposed to. But you're probably better off just booking it under a separate account like the pp said.

I had the issue while on the laptop. Luckily it was just that I was second guessing myself for a time at the 180 day mark. But now I am actively searching for a HTG ADR and I am afraid of losing my backup.

I have had 2 different experiences in the last few days. The first time it let me book a SciFi breakfast for 8am when I had an ADR for 9:20am( I cancelled it within an hour through the cancellation thread)

Today when I went to book a dinner it worked as it used to. So much more fair to others.
