Hi all - so I switched from ASsports to CSR today with under a week to go until our trip :thumbsup2. Just wondering if this has any consequences for ME... the CM I spoke to said that they will just scan the bar code and that code will tell them we are staying at CS now. Has anyone else experienced any problems with this last minute resort switching and ME service? thanks!

Write in your correct resort name when needed but do not draw or write through the bar code.

As long as you have the same reservation number, you'll be fine. That's what DME scan looks for...on that barcode. You can carefully cross out the name of the resort, and carefully put in CSR, but it really isn't neccesary. Do not cross out anything on that barcode!!!!

That's what the CM said... I didn't write on the barcode but I did cross off All Star Sports and wrote in Coronado Springs instead. I'm not too worried about it... thanks all!

Aimros, I can say with all confidence that here on the DIS we've literally NEVER read anyone saying that they did what you were advised to do and had a problem resulting from it.

So true!

A few years ago, you used to get two luggage tags. I had asked a third friend at the last minute to go. We added her to the reservation for ME and they told me to take one of the second tags and cross out my name and put in her name - making sure that we didn't go through the bar code.

When we got to the ME check-in desk, they were looking on the computer and confirmed how many bags we had - and she smiled and said, yes, I see three with regular tags and one with the handwritten name on it. They had already retrieved our bags!
