Switch Rider for Adults?

We are going to MK for 1 day only next week (Thursday Feb 16). It will just be 3 of us (me, DH, DD7). DD wants to do Splash Mountain. I do not (once was enough for me at Disneyland this past summer). How does Switch Rider work? Can I wait in line with DH and DD and then wait for them at the end? Or can I "reserve" a 2nd ride for DH to take DD again since I'm not going on it?

Rider switch is for parties with a too-short child, so that each parent can ride without waiting in standby twice. There is no rider switch for adults.

What you can do is go through the queue with your family and just tell the CM in the load zone that you do not wish to ride. You will be guided to the "chicken exit" and can meet back up with your party after the ride.

Note that if your husband and daughter plan to use Fastpass for this ride, you will need a Fastpass too, in order to go through the queue with them. However, if they get Fastpasses, I'd recommend just waiting for them outside as they shouldn't be in line for very long.

Ahhhh, I don't think what you describe will "work" as rider switch is designed for people who can't/don't want to ride BUT can't stay alone outside while others do ride. Since you are able to wait outside there would be no need to a rider switch.
That's been my experience anyway.
