Please help! Is there such a thing as a cute swimsuit that has support for those of us who have a bit extra on top? I've ordered suit after suit on line, and nothing works. Most suits have those thin straps, and when you are an H, those don't work. I've tried trimshaper suits, I've tried plus sized separates, and nothing gives me the support I need.

I see there is something called a swim bra out there. Has anyone tried one that can share their thoughts? Plain is even ok, as long as it can hold everything!

Both DD and I are in that category. I ordered suits from Lands End last year and they are AWESOME because you order by cup size. Everything stays where it belongs, but they are still cute and stylish.

Freya swimwear. They are pricey, but they offer bra sized swimwear and they are Eurpean so they offer a much larger range of cup sizes.

I have seen them on sale occasionally on Herroom.com and Figleaves.

Definitely for me something with an underwire and available in actual cup sizes is key. I've had good luck with Lands End depending on the style even though some of them are a smaller cup size than what I get in a real bra. (i.e. I wear an I in some bras, but do well with Lands End swim tank in a DDD)

There's an amazing bra/swim/mastectomy shop near me called Ann's Bra Shop that has a billion sizes. They have an online site at https://www.brashop.com/swimwear

Lane Bryant doesn't always have a big selection, but they do have cup sizes and usually 1 or 2 that go up beyond DD (I laugh at some places that promote "plus" or "extended" and only go to DD!)

Swimsuits are a frustration. I have a very specific idea of what I want in a suit but can't find it. Essentially I want a suit top that looks like an oversize t-shirt knotted at the chest...like this:

Or like this, but knotted beneath the breasts instead of wrapped around.

Definitely check Lands End. And I think their cup sizes are way bigger than a regular D cup. I wear a D cup bra, and my girls just swim in their underwire built in bras. Maybe it depends on the shape of your girls, but I could probably stuff both into one cup!

Swimsuits 4 All. They have frequent sales and there's always a promo code or two available. Alternatively, you can sacrifice one of your tan underwire bras and sew it into your tankini top, as I have done. The chlorine will kill you bra, but it lasted the summer.

Find a good independently owned lingerie store. They usually carry bathing suits with cup sizes.

you could probably have a seamster make you one.

Esther Williams for a one-piece -- this is my favorite (classic sheath in gingham. Support is good enough you can undo the straps to retie at the pool and no improv showgirls incidents occur)

Lands End for a two-piece (their underwire are decent) but it is more of a mom suit.

That's my next move. I'm going to go pick up a men's size XL shirt made out of that stretchy knit material and play around with it then see if I can get a bra sewn into it or something.
