I have a couple of lands end tankinis with underwire, which I love but the bottoms I own are swim skirts and are super short and not at all comfy. We are doing Discovery cove and water parks on our vacation at the end of May and I'm on the hunt for some kind of longer skort or swim shorts. Any suggestions?

Has anyone bought the board shorts from lands end?

I've not bought those, but I usually wear tankinis (with bikini type bottoms) from Lands End. Love them.

I do have a pair of swim shorts that I bought from Target. I usually just wear them around the pool, but I have worn them in to swim before. They're pretty comfy because they're very light weight.

swimsuitsforall.com. They have boy shorts and bike shorts for swimming. LL Bean.com also does boy shorts. They call these boy shorts but they are for women.

Lands End hands down. They are nice quality and not a flimsy material where you buldge. Holds everything in, pretty styles and patterns.

cyberswim.com really nice suits, lots of seprates, misses and women's sizes

Look for the brand T.H.E. I have found them to be the absolute best for the same issues as you talked about. Simply the best:cool1:

I bought the board shorts from Land's End for my upcoming cruise, but haven't worn them yet. They're comfy, well fitting, definitely long. I'm 5'10" ish and they go to just above my knees. They seem to be a little thinner than usual swim shorts, but nothing that turned me off. I like them!

I love Lands End! I love their tops. Holds everything in and somehow happens to thin me out with the cut at the waist and the slight flair out at the hip. Light color on top, black under the bust line. Very slimming.

I love the swim shorts and where them even without the bathing suit top. They don't gather in the groin area and with the sewn in panty, they hang very well, won't stick to the leg. When you get out of the water, they dry quickly and still cover everything. Love them!!! I have tons -- mix and match! I also like the top with the shorts because you can walk to your car, walk to anyplace and look like you have a top and short on. I feel more comfortable in that then if I were to wear a tank top and regular, say jean type shorts.

I buy my plus-size chlorine-resistant swim skirts from swimsuitsforall.com. I haven't had luck w/ the plus-size tops (my chest is too small for them). The skirts come about 2-3 inches above my knee (I am 5 ft 4.5 in tall).
