Hi, we are doing a split stay at the end of this month with 1 night at SSR and then 5 nights at BWV. We've never done a split stay so I wasn' t sure about this. Once we check out of SSR and we head over to BWV can we swim there even though our room won't be ready til 4? That 1st day at BWV isnt a day that we are doing a park. Thanks for any info

Yes, you can swim at BWV even before your room is ready. You can even pool hop there if you are a member staying on points at another DVC resort.

You have to check in to use the pool, but once checked in you can use it even if your room isn't ready.

I go there once a trip just to use the Keester Coaster. Pool hopping is allowed there for DVC owners staying on-site. I've never had a problem--but I do go off season.

We did it at Kidani. We checked in but our room wasn't ready. There was a place to change by the pool. So we enjoyed the pool that afternoon till we got a call saying our room was ready, which wasn't until 5.

Have they removed all the locks on the pools for EMS purposes, that was the most recent plan? I know in the past if your didn't physically check in your MB would not open the pool gates.

We typically do split stays and check in early to the second resort of the split stay.::yes:: We enjoy using the pool or doing a park early, then relaxing. Depends, but you can definitely use the pool after check in. :goodvibes

Just keep all you pool needs, bathing suits, suntan lotion, etc, easily accessible so you don’t Have to do the parking lot suitcase search for things!

Yes thank you- we've been there done that before. Definitely good advice!:-)

Do BCV have a place to change by the pool ? We will also be doing a BC, OKW split stay and this is also our plan.
