Swimming at hotels in March? HOJO?

We are going to DL in March and are thinking of staying at the HOJO. Do people typically swim in March or is it too chilly?

It depends on the weather during a particular day. It can be mild or quit warm.

We'll be at Hojo the last week of March and I'm sure as long as it's sunny my son will want to be in the water - he's like a fish!

According to weather.com the averages in March are in the 70-72 range for the high and 50-52 for lows.

I think it also depends on where you're from and/or your cold tolerance. I know my girls will swim in December but there's no way I will. lol

No matter what time of year it is, we always have guests swimming in the pools ! It definitely depends on where you are from on what you consider “chilly” to be, but we do heat the pools to about 80°F so at least the water is warm. If you go swimming or not, that is up to you.

Pretty much agree with the above comments. We make our decision about swimming based on the thermometer, not the calendar.

When in So.Cal. my group will get in the pool all year round. We are from the Pacific NW and Disneyland weather has never been cold for us.

During our January visit my grandson was happy wearing shorts. So it just depends on what you are use to.

Be sure you have what you need for the pool, in case you decide to take a dip.

Even if you aren't interested in the pool..... See if the hotel has a hot tub. That would truly be worth it at the end of a Disney Day!

Coming from Fl I won;t get in water until its in the mid 80s at least (yeah spoiled) unless the temps are really warm in the pools - 'heated in 70s' is too cold for me, but not the kiddos). However I second the hot tub - what a lovely relaxing, muscle massaging way to end the day
