My son will be 1 1/2 when we take our October trip. In our pool I use the swimming diapers. Will they allow Luke in the pools at WDW in those diapers or is he unable to go for a swim? I hope he can. I would hate to have to tell him no, especially at TL. He loves the water.

Our DS was just 2 for our last trip. He wore swim diapers in the pool and no one said anything to us about it. I'm sure you would be fine. That's what the make the swim diapers for! :p Have a great trip!

Thanks! I can't even imagine the scene it would be if I had to tell him no. He is sooo happy but that could bring out a side of him I don't care to see.:scared1:

We took our son 19mths in all the pools. We put a swim diaper on him then a bathing suit (pants) on top so you really couldn't tell he had the diaper on. The swim pants also had a liner in it. Only once did a lifeguard ask us at TL if he had a swim diaper on. That was when we were in the lazy river. We said yes and she said ok- so it should be fine for you to take your son swimming. Have fun.:)

As the others have said, no problem. Its just on cruises where the kids have to be potty trained in order to swim.

We just returned from SSR. I had my son in swim diapers and was fine. The sign near the pool said that children who wear diapers must be in either swim type diapers or tight fitting rubber pants to use the pool.
If you are pallning to use swim diapers, do bring your own. They sold single swim diapers at the little store at the resort and they were quite over priced!!
Have a fun trip!
