Two questions for those with little ones. Do the ships have swim vests for little kids for use at the pools

Does castaway cay cave view boards. I used these in Hawaii. It is like a boogie board with a window/mask in it so little ones can lay on top and see the fish.

Thanks,

Hart

No vests or view boards. The kids pool is only ~18" deep, we didnt notice many kids with life vests. Some had the blow-up arm float things. You will see more vests while on CC, since it is deeper.

When we were in CC the first time (back in 2001), the inner tubes were clear and we were able to lay on them and see clear to the bottom. It was interesting. We knew exactly when to take our feet out of the water when we saw a fish coming.....:rotfl2:

The ship does not have view boards or vests. We brought our own life vest for our 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 yo DDs. We also brought blow up pools that our little ones floated around in on the stingray excursion we went on and also used them at CC. The pool was very small but we could put both of our children in it with their life jackets on and it stayed afloat. If you could find a pool with a clear bottom or an inner tube with a clear bottom bring it along.

The pool was almost over my 2 1/2 yo DDs head. As long as the pool was quiet and I was right there she could move around by herself but otherwise she wore her poolpal suit.

My ds6 (was 5 at the time) can swim and was fine in the pools, but at cc I had his foam belt swimmie with us. I saw arm bands on quite a few kids. Maybe you can buy a raft with a peek window and blow it up yourself at cc.
