SWGE to open at WDW on 1st October?

...that's assuming that they are going to HAVE F&W this year...that hasn't been announced yet either.

They need all their dollars right now, cutting out such a money maker would be stupid. They’re booking the F&W race Wine & Dine 10/31-11/3 https://www.rundisney.com/events/disneyworld/wine-and-dine-half-marathon-weekend/ so it makes me think they just haven’t bothered to put out the F&W dates.
