I love him too I wish you could get a pic, but it would probably clog the exit.

sometimes selfishness takes over and you cant control it , im sure 1 flash didn't ruin anything
Actually it did ruin the performance and here are some reasons.

Sweetums is played by an actor. Characters are trained how to deal with the public, various laws and rules like no holding kids, safety, and how to contact their handler. Most characters have a handler to organize crowds, take special requests, and answer questions. You attacked an actor.

The show has set times that the show runs. This takes into account CM breaks and lunch as well as timing it so that as many guests as possible can see the show. CMs can get in trouble if they do not keep the shows running on time. The actor playing Sweetums has a schedule and if delayed could get in trouble for being on the clock too long or miss part of their break time.

The show has a script and everything runs per that script. If Sweetums is attacked by a guest and delayed then he will have to rush to get to the next scene or he will be on stage when he is supposed to be offstage. Sort of like seeing a play on Broadway and all the theater is on act 2 scene 4 while one actor is still on act 2 scene 2. Not professional.

They have to keep guests in their seats do to the effects of the show. There are federal, state, local agencies, insurance companies, and corporate rules that they must adhere to even if a guest has a different idea on how things should run.

How would you feel if in the middle of Cats on Broadway someone ran on stage and groped a cat or in the middle of the 6th inning someone ran out onto Wrigley field to hug the pitcher? We all came to see the show not some crazed person running around the theater. I only make exemptions for disabled kids but not for silly adult guests.

I am done with my rant now and everyone please return to your seats, thank you, have a nice day, and keep all body parts in the seat at all times.:rolleyes1

Totally agree with your rant rules are there for a reason and if you had done that during my show, It would have bothered me its just plain rude. Also Rules are there for a reason they told you no for a reason. :headache: My personal opinion on flash photgraphy is A, your not gonna get a better pic then you can find on the net especially if your standing when he walks by? just photo shop him in. Second I paid ALOT of money to get into the parks and probably waited a LONG time to get into an attraction and your flash ruins that. Its rude. Whew rant over.

The show has been open for a very long time. I don't think there are any really big spoilers here for first-timers. No more than on any other thread about any other attraction. :confused3

I wasn't speaking about spoilers. I was thinking more along the lines of going into the Muppets*3D Theater to see a film (potentially for the first time ever), and having some grown adult stand up in the front row and take a (possibly) flash picture during a film.

Now my attention has been taken from the film due to the body of an admittedly grown adult standing in front of my view of the screen, and if the picture were flash it could hurt ones' eyes in the darkened environment (not to mention it could have caused Sweetums to become injured as well due to his temporary loss of vision).

Just because you want a picture with a character and were told no, does not mean you should be breaking the rules or irritating others around you to get what you want. Isn't that what people are supposed to learn when they're Children??

Sorry that I misunderstood your original post. Totally agree with this! :thumbsup2

i dont think being a hardcore fan matters to them! im a grown woman and i asked before muppet 3d and after if i could take a picture with sweetums because i was a huge fan of him and they told me no both times so i had to break the rules alittle the next time i went to disneyland i stood up while he walked across the theatre to get a good picture with him nearby

No offense, but if you really should be more clear with your posts then, you clearly say in an above post that you stood up and regardless of that you admit to using flash photography. Which could cause injury to the actor and disturb the other guest who paid good money and probably waited at least a little while if not a long while to see the attraction. Its just not something you should have done its IMO rude.

I don't think you read her posts carefully enough. She said "i had to break the rules" and "sometimes selfishness takes over and you can't control it." This has nothing to do with what you are supposed to learn as a child.

Clearly she has some sort of genetic condition that compels her to act like a total jerk when she doesn't get what she wants. She is totally unable to control herself. It's probably a mental defect of some kind.

A small but substantial percentage of the population seems to be afflicted with this dreaded disease. Rather than scolding, this poor woman needs to be confined to a medical facility and administered heavy doses of sedative drugs so she doesn't hurt herself or others when her mental defect forces her to break the rules to get what she wants.

God bless you, "Princess" Tiana, and I hope you get everything you so richly deserve as a result of your horrible affliction.

I am too sick, tired, and befuddled to report your antics to them as they would have such a good time with your posts.:lmao:
Yes, folks, that is a real site that I and some people on this board belong too.

You do not have to break rules unless life and death. It is no use getting you to understand that you broke the rules multiple times and interupted the show. You will never get out of your princess mindset where you think it is ok for you and you alone to break the rules and have fun at the expense of others. Some people cannot understand what other guests go through at the parks.

You cannot see and never will see that for someone who has one trip in their life to DLR or WDW or even Knotts that that is a special trip and those memories should not be broken by a spoiled princess wannabe who thinks she is above the rules.

You need Queen Elizabeth to teach you respect of other guests.

Disney DOESN"T own the Muppets!!! reasons, 1. 2. 3. that things don't run like disney.

I have the best pic of Sweetums from 2007 at HS. I just don't know how to post the link. I love Sweetums too!!! My kids thought I was nuts, but then I got an old Frog Prince album off ebay and they love it!! I'm probably showing my age :)

don't act like your the most innocent person on earth none of you are. everyone here has done somthing "princessey" in there life. also ive had alot of guests at multiple theme parks break the rules and it doesnt ruin anything for me i guess because im not sensitive and could care less what other people do. its actually entertaining to me.

... i guess because im not sensitive and could care less what other people do....

I guess I'm confused because in other threads, like this one, you have been very sensitive and cared quite a bit about what others thought.

I think if people were to read the entire thread, they would learn you are quite a sensitive Prince.

Oh cool! I was wondering too. What did you find out about getting a picture taken with Sweetums?

lol at stalking me ... yeah go to the last page for that answer
LOL Not stalking you at all. Just did some interesting reading last night on DIS, including a thread where you were sensitive, which is contrary to what you said here, so I was confused.

I read that entire thread and thought others might find the story of a Princess AND a Prince interesting. :wizard:

First and foremost knock of the princess card. I hate when people whip out a card that entitles them to special treatment and which accuses people of negative things toward the card holder solely based on race, religion, height, weight, gender, sexual orientation, royalty as is your case, ethnicity, speech impedements, disabilities, clothing, looks, name, age, etc.

"You let them people on first because they are not XXXX like me" "You dissed my brother because he is XXXX" Well you better come back to earth and realize that people are picking on you because you are acting in a certain manner unbecoming a princess. People do not like me on the internet because of who I am and not my full deck of cards like age, weight, height, lifestyle, not married, no kids, religion, and ethnicity.

STALKING is a nasty word to throw around, missy. People pay attention to posters and they keep track of the ones they love and the ones that are abnormal or trouble makers. I aint saying which you are as honey you know which fits. When a person comes to any board on the internet then people will watch that person to get to know them better. I would love to take you out to lunch at Lucilles for ribs or have a cheeseburger with you at Tommy's but honestly you are an attention seeker and that gets on my nerves. I would be afraid that at Lucille's you would start a hissy fit because the waiter did not treat you right.

Missy, my advice to you is to take the RPG (role playing) elsewhere and be yourself. Be the nice and friendly lady from Compton who works hard and is much loved at home and online not Princess with the attitude.

I BREAK DLR RULES. I do not brag about it and I try to teach others how to better handle the situation. I read up on this site and try to be a model guest so that I do not ruin the magic for others. I also understand that not everyone around me likes being touched, hugged, welcomed, talked to, or have any contact made even though I can help them so I try hard to shut up and not interact with guests. Also I know that the flash can bother the eyes of people with vision limitations and upset kids and adults who have autism. I break the rules sometimes but I try hard not to and try to learn how to deal with things I want.

I hope you learned something about how to treat other guests like they are guests in your home, office, school or church. I hope you learned that not everyone thinks the way you do and some people go to see a show or ride and have never seen it and will never see it again.

It is about us the guests not me the guest.

I will be in the corner waiting for some criss cross fries while I do time out again for .... cannot say but you know what I mean. OK Mary Jo take me away to the time out corner. I do not care except for ketchup on the fries, thank you.:flower3: :grouphug:

The worst part of this seems to be that this is a MAN posing as a woman and trying to get negative reactions from people. "Prince Tiana" this board is NOT like that, do NOT come here to cause problems. None of us appreciate this kind of game. IF you want to play like that go back to the CB to play.

Dreams thanks for pointing all that out for us.

My mother was born in Paramount and I live one town east of Compton. If she lives down the street from disneyland then I live in Disneyland.:lmao: My mom and I grew up in Los Angeles area schools and I do think they do not do a good job weeding out neurovariants but do give kids a sound fundamental knowledge of spelling. Did anyone lose a teen from Compton? I could have my cousin-in-law contact Paramount school district to see if they are missing kids or heard of lost teens.:rolleyes1
=============

Her prior post on emos is all wrong. There are goths and dark kids but emos basically want the world to pity them by their self mutalation and dramatics. This then puts kids who cut for a reason, release of emotional trauma for example, in a bad light where they hide in shame and do not get the help. I have dealt with cutters and hate emo stuff as it hurts the kids that really need help especially neurovariants who self abuse to get over stress and stuff.

are the criss cross fries ready yet for my trip to the time out corner.
