I've been browsing the menus and have noticed a lot of them say "Nestea". Well for REAL sweet tea drinkers in the South, Nestea is not-so-lovingly referred to as "Nastea" for a reason. It's the most vile drink that resembles real, fresh brewed, sugar sweetened tea over ice about as much as mud passes for chocolate ice cream. Is there anywhere in WDW that sells honest to gawd brewed from tea leaves sugar sweetened iced tea? Because otherwise, I am bringing my Iced Tea Pot, a box of Luzianne, and a 10lb bag of sugar.

Subscribing..

I want to hear this too. I love sweet tea (and I'm a yankee, lol!)

I hate Nestea as well! LOL @ the mud and chocolate comparison! Good one!

Unfortunately, I don't remember anyplace at WDW which serves decent tea. (Except maybe the Brown Derby, but I'd given up trying to find good tea and ordered Coke.:rotfl: ) It's tough, for us serious sweet tea drinkers!:sad2:

Well, I have had good luck with buying Red Diamond and Milo's tea by the gallon here locally. They are both sugar sweetened instead of corn syrup. I would need ~9 gallons of it though, so I think bringing my Iced Tea Pot is the better alternative.

The only really good Sweet tea I have found on WDW property is at Trail's End Resturant. Very good sweet tea and it is served in a mason jar! :)

Hallelujah, I'll have to go just to drink my sweet tea in a proper glass!

I also have not found a decent place in WDW that serves sweet tea which is strange being in Florida and all. And I'm laughing out loud at the "Nastea"!

Our McDonald's has sweet tea, not sure about disney's. But you could always try that if your really needing some!

No offense, but McDonald's tea is pretty disgusting. It tastes like they made it in the coffe pot.

I think I read a few months back, that you can find real fresh brewed tea at Columbia Harbor House. If I remember correctly it was started in a Diet Dr. Pepper thread. People were talking about not being able to get DDP anywhere at WDW and then it turned into REAL iced tea too...then veered off even more into a debate about how to say/spell iced tea. :rotfl:

Well, where I'm from all tea has ice in it. And all tea is sweet unless you SPECIFICALLY say UNsweet tea.

The House of Blues in DTD used to have it, but it's been over a year since I've been there, so that may have changed. The food was pretty good too.

While there in August some in our group asked for sweet tea everywhere. The only place they found it was at Trails End. Some thought it was so good, most in our party switched out their drinks for the sweet tea. Other than that, they never found it anywhere else.

heee where are you from, dansamy? I know you're from the south, but I just wonder specifically. So if I'm ever there, I can just say "tea" and it comes out sweet and on ice. LOL

I'm from wisconsin, and although I know what sweet tea is, (and I love it) mostly around here it's called "iced tea" because there is also hot tea.

I enjoy both. I love hot tea the way the english people have it, with milk and sugar.

When it's got ice, it better be sweet tea. Heaven on earth with a lemon wedge!

(Hey, I almost paraphrased Jimmy Buffet, lol)

If you are able to go during f&w, the Oklahoma booth is actually selling sweet tea.

I am no WDW expert by any means but this restaurant is the only place I have seen Sweet Tea, also. AND, last year when we ate there, it was the first time I had had Sweet Tea! We ended up eating at Trail's End several times during our stay and I loved the tea and I had the wait staff keep it comin'! A couple of times I flagged someone down to ask for refills! :rotfl: Do you think they could tell I was from a northern state? :rolleyes1

Just back from a 10 day disney trip my favorite drinks are Dr.Pepper and Sweet Tea. The only place that I found while there that had either one NOT TO MENTION BOTH:cheer2: was Rainforest Cafe. The rest of the time it was the standard:confused3

I looked all over for real, brewed sweet tea and found none! The TS places all had real, brewed iced tea however, unsweetend of course. It is not quite the same I know (I LOVE SWEET TEA) :cutie: but it works... they have real sugar and the blue and yellow packets.
