Rosie you have some great grandchildren there!! You should be proud! I love hearing good things like that. We hear so much nasty things on the news & such so it is always a good thing to hear things like this.

Thank you Doreen !!! For all of Kyles ADHD , which is VERY trying at times , he is a loving and thoughtful young man!! Definately is a hustler !!!He has 1 Lawn cutting job that he will get $200 for the season and several others that he does when they call add in all the junk metal he collects , strips wires for copper and knows which sort is more valuable etc AND he is only 9

Lake George Elvis Festival June 2nd thru 5th !!!!!

If you remember this was a DEBUT as Escorts last year and here I am sporting a much sort after ELVIS Scarf

This is Elvis in the Car Parade

So you get a little preview of what to expect !!

We will be leaving Buffalo at 6a.m on June 2nd with our 1 Vacationer The Blind Man !!!!!!!!!
I think we will stop en route for lunch and pick up the othere Youngsters ( remmeber the youngest is 72 )at the Colonie Mall hopefully by Noon, so maybe we will stop for breakfast!!!!!

My Trip tick puts the first leg at around 4- 5 hours and another hour to Lake George for the second sooo with luck we should be ther by 1 or 1:30p

The Hotel( This Year I will get pix) is Wingate by Wyndham and is very nice , they have a very nice complimentary breakfast buffet !! Hot Fresh Cookies in the afternoon !!!

I will continue tomorrow with the Restaurants I am looking at and maybe someone will have thoughts on them!!

Don;t worry I will be checking and believe me I had the experts show all the staff how to check I followed him around too when he checked the Hotel the guys styed in over night !! So I know where the little b***ers hide etc !!I will also be spraying OFF all over me !!!

Free Breakfast that is GOOD, not your stale donuts and dry cereal type , but eggs , breakfast meat, pancakes etc etc along with dry cereal, danish fruit muffins etc etc !! The cookies are delish too and they encourage you to take one or two!!!!Now you add in a few Elvis floating around

So the list of possible eating establishments !!
First and probably the first night June 2nd will be The Adirondack Bar &Grill. We ate there last year and Carol and I loved the seafood dish we ordered , they had hamburgers, steaks and clams too and everyone enjoyed it and we Know it has a RAMP, remember slow, walkers, Blind
Second on my list is for lunches and prolly more than once A & W Diner !! Last year we stumbled on it after watching the Car show there and decided to try it for lunch . The menu was extensive sooooo many yummy counter service quality choices , no stairs
Thirdly Another repeat Johnny Rocketts This will prolly be Saturday Night if Elvis is performing there again !!You can dance and the food is right up the people's street, Hamburgers !!! There are a few stairs if I remmber correctly
Next is a new one TR's Restaurant at the Holiday inn they have a Friday Seafood buffet if we go Friday and the also have reasonable steaks .. of course hamburgers too !!!

Now for a new discovery a German Restaurant The Heidelburgyes they also have hamburgers

The last place is a lunch one called the Garrison , it has very cheap sandwiches and french onion soup!!


So does that sound good !! At least these are the plans who knows what we could end up with if can't get in to any !!Last year we foundby going a little before 5pm we had NO problem so will try that again!!!
