I would love the corn on the cob too !!!!!

I have to go check the menu for Plaza again !!!I think the reason I've never eaten there is it is not a good usee of a TS :confused3 But OOP it is GREAT!!!!

Rosie, this is where I disagree with most people. I don't look at whether or not it is a "good use" of a TS credit. To me if the food is good and the service is too, then it is a "good use" of a TS credit. I'd rather have a good meal and good service and use a TS credit then go to, for instance the WCC, where I thought the food and service were horrible and waste my TS.

I agree but something inside this Blue Blooded Brit clamours for her money's worth !!We are going to WCC at Judy's request which shocked me as she knows it is where you can get picked on :scared1:She is not into that or sooo I thought maybe as she gets older she cares less just like her Mom!!:rotfl2:Do ya 'll remember when The Step Sister picked on her and she leaned over to me and said "Mom are Disney people supposed to be this RUDE"I about fell out of my chair laughing soo maybe that jogged something in her !!Cuz she has told the kids if Prince Charming or Cinderella ask them to Dance they are !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

You must be home by now - hope you get a good rest!!!

(Kathy, we think the same about TS credits. :) )

Today was Old Navy's $1 flip Flop sale and Judy and the girls were there at 6 a.m to get a good selection !! So I present a sampling of the 30 pairs they bought

The girls each got 10 pairs and Judy got 10 for her and Kyle !! I think they are set for summer and Disney in August!!!

After reading Cynthias Update on the Tea !!I am now contemplating yet another Birthday Treat for the girls I think they might enjoy it and either Judy or I would go with them !! I will have to discuss it with Judy!!!

We've done it four times - the regular afternoon tea, not the Princess Tea. It's lovely and formal, but not stuffy formal. Make sense? So pretty with flowers and China etc. I don't eat any of the tea sandwiches, but the strawberries and cream and Trifle are to die for!! LOVE the GF Tea!!!!

What a wonderful idea for the girls!! :goodvibes

(Already know what I'm going to order in Dec 2012!!!! Harmony Tea, Mimosa, Strawberries and Cream.... oh,no, must have trifle...uh..hm...must have scones and clotted cream...hmm...I want it ALL!!!!)

I think that would be a very nice birthday treat for the girls (although I'v enever done it...I can't get hubby to walk into the resort, let alone have tea there :lmao::lmao::lmao:; he calls it the snooty resort ;) ).

That about sums up Judy's thoughts when we went to 1900 !! She said "Mom we do NOT bvelong here !!":rotfl2::rotfl2:

It's not so snooty when you stay there - it was my all time favorite stay in 30 yrs of Disney trips!! I could not believe how much I loved it...well, I loved the room and view!! Garden view, with a slightly obstructed view of the lagoon, monorail and clear view of entrance to MK. We could see the railroad station and hear the train. LOVED it!! Never wanted to leave the balcony. Fireworks were incredible from our balcony. I don't know if I can ever stay there again b/c that is one of the few GV rooms with that incredible view! (had a fabulous discount in 2004)

I don't like the looks of the rooms at all (reminds me of my great grandma's house). And the time we visited the staff was very snooty. But I'm glad you enjoyed it, Christine; that's what is so great about Disney...something for everyone.

Kyle's meds were wearing off and sitting in the Lobby waiting for our adr wearing park gear and seeing all the Fancy people was just not Judy's cup of tea!!!:rotfl2:

I was gonna do an update and use pix from the internet of all the places I was gonna see/do on our first day but I can't figure out how to copy and paste them :confused3Any help would be appreciated !!!:worship::worship:

Very true, Kathy - that's what makes it so much fun.:goodvibes

Funny, I did not like the rooms from the photos either....and the rooms have different designs. We stayed there because my friend had been extraordinarily supportive when my Toby died and I wanted to do something special for her. I knew it was her dream to stay there, so when I got a great code, I booked 3 ngts and surprised her (she lives in FL and we used to get together every few yrs for 3 ngts at WDW). It surprised me too b/c I NEVER expected to love the room so much! The design in our room was very pretty. Honestly, she sat in the cool room while I could not tear myself from the balcony, even in the heat.:rotfl:

Not crazy about the GF lobby though...shops are very nice, but very upscale. There used to be wonderful sort of general store kind of shop that I really liked, but it was changed many years ago to a children's shop - it's just okay now.

Uh oh...big storm coming in...better sign off.

Night Kathy & Rosie! Rest well!:grouphug:

I know what Judy means - it can definitely feel that way in the lobby!!

Rosie, you'll have to right click on the pic, save it to your computer, then upload to photobucket and get the img code to post here. :thumbsup2
