Whil I love all the adults at Disney, they can be a bit pricey. So, I'm looking for suggestions of sweet alcoholic drinks I can make in the room. Any ideas??

How about just buying a bottle of one of the TIGFridays pre-made drinks in a bottle and using those? I love the mudslide one and the pina colada one.

Our favorite summer drink recipe....mix one frozen limeade, one cup tequila, and 3 beers (corona type). Delicious!! Or just get some Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka and go to town ;) (mixed with water or lemonade).

Black Russian: 1 oz. vodka, 1 oz. kahlua. White Russian: add cream/milk to Black Russian. Angel's Kiss: 1 oz. kahlua, cream/milk. Pour each over ice, as needed.

margaritas are pretty easy. Buy a bottle of margarita mix, then add tequila. Shake and serve. Easy as a can of corn.

We always do vodka and pink lemonade for cocktail hour in our room at WDW.

Hmmm...I haven't tried those, but it sounds perfect!

This is similar to a drink we used to make in college - pink lemonade, gin and beer.

I must try yours!

Jose Cuervo Margarita mix is BY FAR the sweetest drink I have ever tasted.

You can't get much sweeter than OJ or cranberry juice and vodka/rum. Add a little seltzer, and it becomes a spritzer! :thumbsup2

Buy a carton of Orange Pineapple Juice and mix with vodka!

I like White Russians.

Also, one of my favs is called a Tootsie Roll. It is white/clear creme de cocao liqueur and orange juice. It tastes exactly like a Tootsie roll! Don't get the dark creme de cocao if you can help it, the brown makes the oj a funny color, even though it tastes the same.

There is also Tequila Sunrise. Shot of Tequila, then oj, then grenadine slowly poured in. It sinks to the bottom and creates the sunrise. Serve in a clear glass with a stirrer, but without stirring. The drinker should stir it up once they've seen the sunrise.

Alternately, you can make the above with vodka, then oj or pineapple juice, and slowly poured in cranberry juice. Of course it is not a Tequila sunrise, but if the cranberry juice is poured in slowly enough, you may get the sunrise effect.

Then there are the old, simple standards:
Vodka & oj
Vodka & cranberry
Gin, 7up & a lemon.
Frozen premade daiquiri mixes & required alcohol on the label.

Mimosa: 1 part champagne or other sparkling white wine and 1 part orange juice

Oh my goodness...I think we have a winner!!

I have to second the idea of a premix cocktail. There are so many good ones now that already have the liquor mixed in. Just pour over ice and sip. The TGI Friday's ones are good but there are cosmos and mojitos and all kinds of stuff.

Vodka + orange soda (from the food court - free in your Disney mug)
Rum + coke (ditto)
Malibu + pink lemonade (ditto) - kind of gross, but definitely sweet!

Yes, I have been known to drink like a college sophomore at WDW. At least it's a step up from jungle juice brewed in someone's trashcan. I pretty much just bring the booze with me, and then improvise mixers as needed. It turns out that frozen coke doesn't work very well.

This takes me back--but you asked for sweet drinks: 1 oz. Southern Comfort, and 7-Up, over ice. My college roomie used to drink this!

we also bring TGIF drinks, or premade margaritas. have you ever seen a bottle of Hot Sex? it is vodka, chocolate, ginger. it is SO good! (not very strong though)
we use to love mixing rum with the frozen coke at Pop.... but now they did away with the frozen coke:sad2:.

My favorite is pineapple juice and malibu rum.

This was going to be one of my sugggestions:thumbsup2 You can also put coconut rum in coke, or diet coke.

My drink this week has been Sweet tea vodka, mixed with Mango green tea Crystal light.

Also Lemoncello with coke. Nice and light.

You are in Disney, why do you need to make alcoholic drinks in your room?

Gotcha ;) I figured I'd get it out of the way because you know someone is going to ask.

-Bahama Mama-
Malibu
Orange Juice
Pinapple juice
grenadine
or you can just get one of those tropicana twisters, or V8 splash drinks (tropical flavors) and add malibu to one of them :goodvibes
