For my 16th birthday all I did was have 5 girls spend the night, and we did girly things. It was so much fun. You don't have to have something extravagant to have it be fun.

I still have to years till my 16 birthday i dnt turn 15 till June and you wanna know the funny hting............... everybody thinks that im older cause Im so flipping tall im only 5'11 and a Freshman well im the tallest girl in my grade..... I had 15-20 close friends over, and i made them all dress up as disney characters and put up some posters lol it was great you don't need to have a massive party to have a great time, we just watched movies and did kareoke (sp?) and a couple of the guys braught a guitar and ad-libbed some songs, it was lots of fun

My sixteenth brithday? Hmm. I think it rained that day. But we did go and sign me up for orchestra, easily one of the best things that's ever happened to me. (It was more or less a coincidence it happend on my birthday, though.) I think we went to Glden Crral, too.

T be honest, I was a little disappointed at not doing anything more special, but then, I was told I was getting an awesome present so it was okay. *shrugs*

Anyways, I don't really do anything for my birthdays. Just go out to dinner with my family and have cake afterwards. Big deal.

Haha, I love how some of ya'll are saying '50 of my closest friends'. Who has 50 best friends? Heh, maybe I'm just a loner.

For my 16th I'm inviting 8 people and we're going to ride all the coaster's on the Strip, eat at the Stratosphere and drive down in a party bus to the coaster in Primm.

For my Sweet 16 I rented a hall with about 150 of my "closest" friends. It was dressy and I had my best friends sleep over after (about 20 of us). For dessert, instead of sheet cakes, I got one big cake made for show. (Shape of a music note) And then had one gingerbread made for each person. This was a big hit.

I had a lot of fun at my Sweet 16, but it was deffinatly not something to do every year.

Let's see for my 16th birthday I got to sleep in and go to school late. I was trying to get my permit but my local DMV doesn't give out the permit tests on Thursday. Then I went to school for just over half the day. Then after school I went to another dmv to get my permit. And then I went to dance class where I didn't tell my dance teacher it was my birthday cause I was pissed at her from the night before. Then I went home and ate frozen pizza.

But 3 days after my birthday I did go to Disney world... with my parents, no friends. It was just another ordinary birthday for me. Nothing super special about it.

Me, a few friends, and my family just got together and hung out at my house. It was fun. We went down to the river and swam for hours. My birthday's in July, so the weather was great!

Well the week of my birthday is the date of our school musical. So I can't have my party that saturday. So the only time I can have a party is the saturday before I go to italy (which is my bday present) and since i'm saving up my money im probably going to invite some friends over and have a sleep over. Nothing big.

Haha this sounds STRANGELY like MY 16th birthday - I slept in, went to go get my permit, but didn't have my SS card with me - I had to order a new one the next week. I went to school for about 3/4 of the day, went to dance class and was pissed at one of MY teachers, too. And then I just went out to eat with my parents. The next day I went to dance class and a Pawtucket Red Sox game with my dad, my friend, my aunts, uncles and cousin and I had a birthday/confirmation party that afternoon, and went to NYC later that week to see a show. The next 2 years (17th and 18th) I went to NYC (but also to visit colleges as well as see some shows), and last year I had a big graduation party.
