Sweet 16 Surprise HELP!

I just booked a Universal package for me and my daughter. This is in lieu of a Sweet 16 party and a total surprise for her. Her birthday is Feb 26 and our trip is March 12. I plan to tell her on March 5th, but not sure how. I'd love some ideas on how to surprise her Harry Potter style... and, GO!

With certain HP packages, they mail you a welcome package., Did you get one of those? If so, be sure she doesnt get it in the mail before you can intercept it. We gave my daughter ticket to HP World for Christmas. I didnt have the actual ticket yet and didnt order the package where they mail stuff to you--- so I created my own "You have been chosen to attend Hogwarts letter..." I can post a sample if you want to see it. She was so excited to get her own Hogwarts letter just like in the movie. For my daughters Christmas gift, I also got her several HP tshirts and an owl ornament.

Another idea--- put on her favorite HP movie. Bury the tickets or her Hogwarts letter in the popcorn dish and let her "find it".


Or....put the tickets as a bookmark in her favorite HP book and place it in an odd location so it will catch her eye

Have a friend dress up like a witch and deliver her letter and tickets. (I would totally do this, but Im atotal HP nerd!)

I'd love to see your letter!!! I didn't book a HP package, and they didn't mention anything about mailing anything. But then again, they do with Disney. I'll be calling tomorrow to find out!

I LOVE the popcorn idea... BUT, having a witch deliver the letter is brilliant! We're huge HP nerds too If you lived close, I'd so have you do it LOL

If you go to the creative forum, there are Disigners that will create fun invitation letters for you. We just went for my Dd sweet 16 in November. I allowed her to bring one friend with us. We had a blast. We stayed at RPR, the concierge was so helpful. They decorated my room for me with a banner, balloons and gift basket I purchased for our arrival. Make sure she wears her birthday button when you go the olivanders wand show. She may be chosen for a wand. Get an interactive wand, I had such fun with it.

We surprised our daughter on Christmas Eve. We are taking her for her college graduation. I ordered a letter on ebay. It is on parchment paper and has a wax seal on the envelope. The guy let me personalize it "We are pleased to inform you that you have been invited to Hogwarts Universal Studios Orlando tour after graduation from the muggle university of Missouri-St. Louis."

She is so excited. She just kept saying "is this for real?". Her fiance said she was more excited about getting that letter than she was when he gave her the engagement ring!

In order to get the letter from Universal directly, you need to order a package from Universal not just buy tickets.
