so DD wants a small party for her sweet 16 bday and has come up with a great Disney themed party. Friends arrive dressed as disney characters and then we play various Disney games and serve Disney/Mickey shaped food.

So I'm looking for your clean adult Disney party ideas! We've been all over Pinterest and there are a lot of kids parties but these are teenagers!!

We did our DDs Sweet 16 last February and it was a Disney theme. We did it in a place but it came out great. We made pretty much everything ourselves with a group of great friends. Each centerpiece table was a ride. We gave Mickey/Minnie ears to everyone that came. We gave the option to come in character but her closest friends all did. They didn't dress in costume but picked dresses that looked like the character and we supplied the ears to match their character for all her closest friends and family. We made Mickey rice crispie treats. We gave out Disney Pez dispensers. We also made her name as Disney characters. My DD was dressed as Donald Duck so we got her Donald ears. My other DD in the picture was at the door dressed as Dumbo with the lamp posts telling people where the rides (tables) were. We also made a table with Cinderella's castle and the monorail. The kids were playing with it all night. It was so much fun. We played Disney music all night. We also made Disney Cast member name tags for our family and friends helping with the party. If you would like any other help you can PM. It was the best party because it was fun for all. We were shocked about how many adults kept their ears on. Enjoy!

Oh my gosh, that looks absolutely stunning.

All I did for my 16th birthday party was go to Medieval Times with my dad, so I can't offer much advice.

Gianna your party looks like it was amazing!

Well I just finished the photo booth props. I'm so excited. You can't tell but the skull and crossbones, 10/6 tag and the cheshires teeth are all sparkles!! I'm going to sparkle the crown and make a sorcerer hat then onto the park themed center pieces.image.jpgimage.jpg

those pictures are amazing! i love the ideas! you could also do some sort of trivia contests, maybe similar to wheel or fortune or jeopardy? it would take some planning but you could do it

Don't they make a Disney version of Trivial Pursuit? If you went the trivia game idea you could just use the cards from that. My nieces and nephews are all in their later teens to early 20's and they've always enjoyed playing Minute to Win it type games at family gatherings and my kids birthday parties (my kids are much younger and the older ones have always been helpers at their parties) Maybe you could look some of those up and adapt them to the theme? Another one that was quite popular this past Christmas was drawing a self portrait holding the paper on top of your head ( could also be done with eyes closed/blindfolded). You could always switch that to Disney characters. My rule for party games is 3. I don't know why but that seems like the magical number before the kids feel like I'm being the party police, lol .

Disney trivia and games - that's a great idea and we have ALL of them! I could 'borrow' from all of the games and make something.

Next item is a Castle and Epcot centerpiece and then a Alice in Wonderland tea party sign. I'll post pictures.

Thanks.

These look great. I can't wait to see the rest. We loved doing my daughters party and making everything - it was so much fun.
