Okay 2 questions for you veteran runners!
1. For the Disney Half, I know if you aren't keeping a 16 minute mile pace you are swept. So is that timed from when YOU cross the start line or from the start of the race? If the race starts and you are in the waaaay back and it is a few minutes before you actually really start do you really only have say 12 minutes to make that first mile marker? Yes I am nervous as I will be in the way back and getting swept at Disney World sounds utterly miserable.
2. I got some running shoes in February, my first real pair, sized at a real running store. They are Asics GT-2130 and they have been great for the last 2 months. I love them. However, today the insole has started slipping and sliding and it moves and creates a wrinkle that rubs my foot in a bad way. I had to stop twice on my run today and take my shoe off and fix it. What gives? I am not sure why it just all of a sudden has started wiggling around like that? Any advice?
