I just got a mailing for the Fly 3, get one free deal from Southwest. My question is, on these 3 rt flights that you buy, are you still earning points in addition to the free flight for the 3 flights? It would seem to be worth it to take 3 cheap flights if you're going to get points AND a free flight....if only they had $19 Dings from PVD to MCO

It was a postcard, but I think that you only have to log in to your RR account to have it pop up for registration. That is all the postcard tells you to do.

The answer is, yes, you can earn on these flights -- even if they are Dings.
I love doing mileage runs on these specials. When they opened direct service from my airport to DAL and gave triple credit, I did three mileage runs for $19/ea. Just went to Dallas and caught a movie or a museum exhibit (picked up a $14 car rental from Alamo for the day and got a 1/2 RR credit for that, too!)

I logged into my rapid rewards and looked around, but cound'nd find anything about the promotion. It must have been a targeted one. Shucks. If anyone else finds it open to everyone, please let us know.

It was a postcard, not through the website. There was another time when my DH got the postcard and I didn't....too bad the dings have all been stinking!
