Swapped AKV concierge for BLT!

We're going Jersey week and I booked a 1BR AKV concierge at the 11 month mark. Then my in-laws decided to join us so I switched our ressies to a 2BR at BLT. Wanted standard view but only had lake available.

I'm pretty excited b/c we may try to do MNSSHP on Halloween. It will be so nice to walk back rather than wait all night for a bus! If there's really a party on Nov 1st, we may go then instead.

Congrats!! When is Jersey week?

Jersey week is typically the first week of November... The schools are out for the annual teacher's convention on Thursday/Friday of that week and many schools are out on Tuesday for Election Day. Some schools close the whole week, other parents just take their kids out of school on Monday/Wednesday so they can vacation for a whole week.

This year, it's November 2 - 6.

Since my daughter has started school, we'll pretty much exclusively vacation during Jersey week. We don't like the heat, so summer's out. The crowds during Christmas and Spring Break scare us.

We bought our use year (Sept) based on this plan. If we don't take our annual vacation for some reason, we'll have plenty of time to bank the points.

I'm glad BLT was available for you! Hope your waitlist comes through. There are other activities around the world on Halloween that are free, so I think it's a good idea to do those things and then the party on November 1st!
