***Swap has ended***Strolling around the World Dbl Stroller Swap

From what I have heard if the stroller is in a bag it has a much better chance of surviving Luggage Services.
It has been the strollers that just roll in that they have been making disappear.
So hopefully ours will be fine...

Getting excited!!! We're leaving for Destin Beach TOMORROW & we will arrive at WDW on Wed!!! I'll update the condition of the stroller after we get back. I'm too excited to sleep!

Our trip was GREAT! Thanks for asking!

It was so wonderful having the stroller!!! Yes, as OP have mentioned the back left wheel tends to act crazy every now & then. I just put my backpack in that seat & let my DS6 ride on the right side---worked fine like that. Put your heaviest child on the right & you should be okay.

The brake was a little difficult to maneuver at first--only b/c we've never used this brand. I would suggest that you practice folding & unfolding the stroller several times before taking it out.

It's not as pretty as it was when it was first bought, but it sure beats around $30 PER DAY for a Disney double stroller!

I the storage on the back. It had tons of room for our drinks, sunscreen, antibacterial gel & wipes. AND, I found the pockets on the back of the actual seats a couple of days before we came home!! They are perfect for sunglasses or lanyards, etc.

DH left the stroller at FW Campgrounds on Saturday, Sept. 27th. This is an early pic of my son in the left seat (I recommend the right though!)...

Remember, there are red pockets hidden under the black storage straps. Great for keys & sunglasses!

Looks like I'll be getting the stroller from you mchelle77! We might be able to keep it out of storage, I just read on a different thread that their stroller was in Luggage Services for 30 minutes and got lost and took a whole day to find!

Not sure where you'll be on 11/7 but I actually need it that day since our plane lands at 9am and we're making our first day a MK one. I'll send you a pm soon so we can get to planning.

Those pads on the seat should come off. Maybe someone could wash them.

The seats will look more like the picture in post one with the pads off.
Actually the whole seat is removable and washable.

You have to kick up the two black seat locks in the back in the middle and then push down on the lever...
If you don't know to push up the locks first it will never fold.

I don't have the stroller yet. As far as I know, Hhowe never picked up the stroller, so she never brought it to POP for me. I have tried calling her and PMing her and haven't heard back. My sister was kind enough to go over to Fort Wilderness for me after dinner tonight to look for the stroller (because I was exhausted after traveling alone with my 2 kids). So, here's hoping she finds it there!! I'll try to give you all an update sometime tomorrow.

I was pretty sure it would be at Fort Wilderness, but that's not where it was supposed to be if everything had went as planned. I still wasn't sure if Hhowe had picked it up for her last few days or not.

My sister was a complete sweetheart. She went to Fort Wilderness for me to pick up the stroller. When she got there a very unhelpful woman named Fiona told her that the stroller wasn't there. She said they looked and couldn't find it. So, my sister told her that wasn't acceptable and that she was certain the stroller was there. Fiona insisted that it wasn't there. So, my sister said "This is a very expensive stroller and I'm not leaving until we find out what happened to it." She finally contacted a very helpful man named Miguel and he happily found the stroller for her, plus he got a van to take my sister and her family back to Pop Century! We love Miguel at FW!

I now have the stroller and everything looks good with it. I would like to beg anyone who is in the swap to please let us know if you have changed your mind and no longer want the stroller! If we had known that Hhowe wasn't going to use it, we could have all avoided a lot of running around and hassle!

Also, if they tell you they don't have the stroller, you'll need to persist and be a PITB! The same thing happened when I did a fridge swap in February. They finally let me come back to look for it and there it sat with the other fridges!
