Swan ?

Yes, you can take the boats to and from MGM, Epcot, and the other Epcot resorts (although it is quicker to walk to the other resorts). Epcot is about 15-20 minutes by walking and is a nice walk along the boardwalk. We did it 2 or 3 mornings and would just stop and get some pastries and coffee at the Boardwalk bakery on our way over which made for a nice leisurely stroll. The walk to MGM is not bad, but we preferred the boat. We stayed there in July and it was rather warm, so the air conditioning on the boat felt good. I know I saw wheelchairs on the boat but they were folded up. I can not remember if I saw a scooter or not but have read on other posts that they are not allowed on the boats for safety reasons.
Anyhow, hopefully another poster can answer that question for you. Let me know if you have any other questions about the hotel, and I can try to answer them as well!
Have a pixiedust: magical pixiedust: trip!

My Grandfather used a scooter and took it on the boats. We never had an issue. The Swan is my favorite Disney Hotel. Great location and quiet! Enjoy!

The boats that go between Epcot, the Epcot area resorts and the Studio are all wheelchair and ECV accessible.
