Swan - Valet Question

Hi there - Well the time is upon us. We leave on Thursday. We're staying at the Swan for the first time. We're driving - so I would like to know how valet parking works at the Swan. Is it the same as the regular Disney resorts? I've heard it's more expensive.

Any other last minute Swan tips are welcome.

Would believe the Valet parking works the same as the other resorts, but is is a bit more. We were there this past August with the whole family We did not drive, but my Son-in Law did and was pleased with the valet service. Did not really find any need for a car while there. WDW transportation was great!

We also took advantage of the concierge desk around the corner from check-in and right next to the Disney desk. All guests can use this service. The staff there was great as was the staff at the Disney desk. We thought the coffee at the Lobby Court Lounge was excellent though a bit pricey. Dolphin Fountain is very good. You can have park and DTD purchases delivered to the hotel (pick-up at store).

We had a wonderful, magical stay!! Wish you the same!!! And a Happt Thanksgiving to you!

I haven't used Swan valet personally, but my brother-in-law did and it was charged to our room since both rooms were reserved in my name for the discount. It was $14 a day, which I thought was WAY too much. If I drive in the future, I will not use it. It did seem like the service was very good though. For me, it's just way too much money.

The Tubbi's food court has a refillable mug for that yummy coffee. It's Starbucks. I know you can also get soda refills with it, and I assume at places like the pool and the lobby lounge.

Oh boy - I'm excited now. Thanks you guys. Think we'll park our own car. I don't want anyone driving my car anyway - it's new (well, I got it in August). I love my car. Starbucks, huh? Oh boy.

I can't wait - we leave at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow.
